Apart from imparting theoretical and practical knowledge of computer science and software engineering
skills, the Department of Computer Science also encourages the students to actively participate in a diverse
range of activities aimed at increasing interaction and exposure of students to the industries and also at the
same time enhancing the personality of the students.
A number of industry standard projects are assigned to the students. In this regard, the industries located in
and around Aligarh, various government offices, NIC, CMC and the like have been very helpful.
To keep our students in tune with recent technologies, lectures by eminent computer scientists and
renowned industry people are regularly organized.
Seminars and fete are organized which encourages interaction of the students with the industry and keep
them well in touch with the happenings in the industry.
Our students have been regularly participating in various events held in different institutes and universities
and have been bringing laurels to AMU.
